Cultivating Inner Conditions for Deep Systems Change

Sahaj Collective is a community and practice space for purpose-driven people to pause, grieve, and reimagine change as a gentle unfolding of self and systems.

Why Sahaj Collective exists

The systems we live and work in reward speed, control, unbridled growth, and compliance. They have brought us to the threshold of a metacrisis — ecological, social, and spiritual. For those who sense the need to live and lead differently — with intention, compassion, agency, and care — the path often feels lonely.

Sahaj Collective exists as a countercurrent. Sahaj means easeful. It reminds us that sustained change — both inner and outer — takes root not in force, but in the conditions of ease: spaces where we can pause, compost what is heavy, and allow new ways of being to emerge.

It is a space for purpose-driven people who are already experimenting with gentler, more life-giving ways of living and leading — and for those standing at the threshold, feeling the pull to slow down, to care differently, to choose agency over compliance, but not yet knowing how to begin. Sahaj is companionship and community, a place to pause, to grieve, to dream. It is a reminder that you are not alone — and that this gentler way of leading is not only valid, but vital for the world we are trying to create.

The Sahaj Spiral

Systems Change As A Gentle Unfolding

The Sahaj Spiral is a return inward — a pathway for remembering what allows systems to heal themselves. Each turn of the spiral brings us closer to the source, carried by the current of compassion.

  • Roots (Grounding): Resting in enoughness, releasing excess, accepting what is.

  • Eyes (Awareness): Holding paradox, seeing grief and possibility together, remembering oneness.

  • Hands (Agency): Choosing how to show up, bringing forth our unique gifts as medicine.

  • River (Compassion): The flow through every loop — beginning with ourselves, extending to others, softening the journey.

The spiral doesn’t expand outward in search of more; it returns inward, again and again, deepening presence. From this place, renewal and resonance ripple naturally into the systems we are part of.

Compassionate Witnessing of Self and Systems: An Invitation

Dear friends,

I’m opening the next cohort of Compassionate Witnessing of Self and Systems - a 6-week journey for purpose-driven leaders, artists, activists, and seekers who want to reconnect with the deeper ground of their being, not only through words but through the body itself.

We use writing and stories, yes. But before the words, there is sensation, breath, grief, longing, aliveness. The body is our first text. It holds the memory of when we began to believe we were separate - from nature, from each other, from parts of ourselves. And it also holds the possibility of returning to wholeness.

This journey is about listening to that source - the body - with curiosity and courage. Through writing, somatic awareness, and collective practices, we soften into what the body reveals, witness the voices of the system within us, and learn to hear the quieter voice beneath them: the voice of compassion, interbeing, and regeneration.

Together, we will:

  • Write, guided not just by thought but by what the body is sensing and holding.

  • Connect in small and large circles, practicing community as a source of belonging.

  • Engage in embodied practices like the Truth Mandala and Social Presencing Theater.

  • Reflect on our own small “projects” as seeds of change and witness them from multiple perspectives.

  • Leave with more than words — a felt sense of wholeness and renewed imagination for systems change.

This will be our collective practice in embodied witnessing as a way of coming home.

Starts: October 30, 2025
Format: Fortnightly live sessions + fortnightly small coaching circles
